Refund Policy

30 days, no questions asked. If ClipSpaces isn’t right for you, email us within 30 days of a payment and we’ll refund it in full.

Effective: August 2, 2026

The policy

  • Full refund within 30 days of any charge — a first payment or a renewal — on any paid plan. You don’t need to give a reason.
  • No usage penalty. Having used the app, uploaded files or spent your AI allowance does not disqualify you.
  • Refunded in full, to the original payment method. We don’t issue partial refunds, store credit or vouchers in place of the money.
  • After 30 days we don’t refund as a matter of course, but we’d still rather hear from you than not — see exceptions.

The Free plan never expires, so you can evaluate ClipSpaces properly without paying at all. The refund window is there for the parts of a paid plan you can only judge by using them.

How to request one

Email support@clipspaces.app from the address on your ClipSpaces account, and say which payment you want refunded. That’s the whole process — there is no form.

  • We reply within 2 business days.
  • Approved refunds are submitted to the payment processor within 5 business days.
  • The money typically reaches your account 5–10 business days after that, depending on your bank or mobile-money provider. That last leg is outside our control.
  • Refunding does not delete your account or your boards — you keep them on the Free plan.

If your payment was processed by Paddle you can also request a refund directly through paddle.net using the email address you paid with, where your invoices and receipts also live. Either route works and both reach us.

How refunds are processed

Which processor handled your payment determines who issues the money back. It doesn’t change what you’re entitled to — the 30-day window is the same either way.

If you paid viaSeller of recordRefunded
Paddle (card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay)Paddle.com Market LtdBy Paddle, to the original method, in the currency you were charged. Any sales tax or VAT collected is refunded with it.

💱Currency note. A refund returns the exact amount that was charged, in the currency it was charged in. If your bank converted a cedi charge into your own currency, the amount that lands may differ slightly from what left your account because the exchange rate has moved, and any conversion fee your bank charged is theirs, not ours. We can’t recover that difference, which is one reason the pricing page tells you which currency you’ll actually be charged in before you pay.

Cancelling vs refunding

These are different things and it’s worth being clear about which you want:

  • Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you already paid for. Do it yourself, any time, in Settings → Plans.
  • Refunding returns money already taken. Your account drops to the Free plan when the refund is issued.

Cancelling on its own never triggers a refund, and never charges an early termination fee — there are none.

Mobile money payments have nothing to cancel. They buy a fixed term that simply expires, so no further money is ever taken. The refund window applies to them exactly as it does to card payments.

Renewals & annual plans

  • Forgotten renewals are refundable. An automatic renewal you didn’t intend is covered by the same 30-day window — this is the single most common request we get, and the answer is yes.
  • Mobile-money terms are warned by email before they lapse, because nothing renews them for you. Card subscriptions renew silently — if you would rather not be charged again, cancel in Settings → Plans and keep access to the end of the period.
  • Beyond 30 days into an annual term, we can refund the unused whole months on request. This is discretionary, and we’ve not yet said no.

Exceptions

Outside the 30-day window, we refund in these cases regardless:

  • You were charged in error — a duplicate charge, a charge after cancelling, or the wrong amount. Refunded in full, always, with no time limit.
  • We removed something material from your paid plan, or we terminated your account without cause. Refunded pro rata for the unused period, per the terms of service.
  • A sustained outage made the paid features unusable for a meaningful part of your billing period.

We may decline a refund where an account is being used abusively — for example repeatedly subscribing and refunding to obtain paid features, or where the account was terminated for a serious breach of the terms of service. This is about fraud, not about anyone who simply changed their mind.

Your statutory rights

This policy is offered in addition to your legal rights, and nothing here limits them. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you have a statutory right to cancel a digital purchase within 14 days; where you asked for immediate access to the service, that right may be waived at checkout under consumer law — our 30-day policy is deliberately longer and simpler than the statutory minimum, so in practice it is the one to use. Consumers elsewhere keep whatever rights local law provides.

For payments where Paddle is the merchant of record, Paddle’s own buyer terms also apply to the transaction and may give you additional avenues.
